Being cousins (via)Shawn, and b...I will say this.

Being cousins (via)Shawn, and building our 'own' family relathionship (connection), I have come to enjoy learning who K.I.M. is...

Reading this blog, surely helps me connect more with your feelings, thoughts and what you've gone through and still have to face.

Discussions that you and I have had,(since reconnecting as family)helps me to understand why and accept things that cannot be changed. Yet, some things can be done differently to help us when we need to understand and be understood, i.e. Self-Help books, other peoples experiences and even couseling.

Kim, keep writing and keep getting and sharing your knowledge and experiences because the way you summed up Sunrise/Sunset tells me to, enjoy and embrace each other today (for those that will let us in) because, once that final time comes (again),it will be too late.

I Love you!
EvEvelynne99https://www.blogger.com/profile/17568263814808665778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3290102271635075451.post-91136757666810280362009-09-07T13:59:54.043-04:002009-09-07T13:59:54.043-04:00wow....this is right on time, Coop.
2morrow will ...wow....this is right on time, Coop.

2morrow will mark 9 years to the date of my father's death.
you're absolutely right: death changes us.

this year i lost a dear friend, a mentor...a woman named Patricia Abdullah.
she was/is a role model.

but in her death, what i realized is that she was bigger than her own demise.
how is that? because her life was HUGE! the positive impact she had on countless lives is not measurable, therefore, can she really ever die?
physically, she's no longer here, but i feel her life more now than ever during her life.
i know it sounds crazy, but it's absolutely true.

as for me, i guess i can say that i'm intrigued by the thought of death myself.
i'm not scared to die, but i AM scared that my life may NOT have been lived as fully and properly as it should have been, and as i result, i fear that i'll disappoint my Lord.

there IS something to be said for Grace and Forgiveness.
i'm eased knowing that God is most Gracious, oft Forgiving and Merciful.Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12650240735619420213noreply@blogger.com
